Neal describes his classes for "Linking Word
and Worship:"

Friday evening
Jam Session 101.  Sit in on a praise and
worship jam session.  Bring your guitar, bass,
keyboard, drum, or just your voice.  We’ll have
some fun and learn some new tunes but we’ll
also work toward putting together a group to
lead worship during the closing service Saturday
afternoon.  We welcome musicians and singers
from all levels of experience to sit in with this
class.

Saturday morning
Everything you wanted to know about
contemporary worship but were afraid to ask.

A talk-back session addressing the many aspects
of developing and being a part of a successful
praise band/contemporary worship service.  We’
ll talk about getting started, resources, theology,
practice, instrumentation, sound, etc.—plus you’
ll have ample time to ask questions specific to
your ministry settings.

Saturday afternoon
Putting it all together.  Band rehearsal for our
closing worship service.
